CH338 is an elegant dining table designed in 1962 by Hans J. Wegner and produced by the Danish company Carl Hansen & Søn. The table consists of an elliptically shaped tabletop and round wooden legs. The entire table is made of solid wood and is available in several different wood types and finishes. The practical table is also available in a smaller and a larger model under the names CH337 and CH339, respectively. It is advantageous to combine the CH338 table with one of Wegner's chairs, such as the CH24 Wishbone Chair, CH23, CH26, or CH36.
Another practical detail is that CH338 is extendable and can be elongated. It is important to choose the right version based on your needs. Carl Hansen & Søn offers two versions that can be combined with either up to two or four extension leaves. The CH338 table is compatible with the extension leaf CH338I, which is available in the same materials and finishes as the table. There are also additional options in MDF for those who want a more affordable alternative.
