Mi 435 Anna is a stool designed in 1945 by Bruno Mathsson. A tabouret is an upholstered chair without a backrest. The Anna tabouret is made in the classic Bruno Mathsson style. With light materials such as glued beech, and elegantly split legs with a seat with polyether padding. The seats incline contributes to the seating comfort despite the absence of a backrest. Anna results from solid, high quality craftsmanship. The chair is available in a variety of finishes, including fabric, leather, leatherette, or cowhide. The Anna stool can also be used as a footstool and is a perfect match for several of Bruno Mathsson's other seating models.
Anna was a posthumously created piece. Over ten years after Bruno Mathsson's death, the Anna stool was shown at the permanent exhibition, Studio B3. After the war, Mathsson was incredibly creative and diligent; many sketches were on his drawing board but not all of them were produced. Luckily, Bruno Mathsson International found the treasure trove of drawings and put Anna into production.
