Bay is a sculptural sofa designed by Nipa Doshi and Jonathan Levien for B&B Italia Outdoor. Bay is a series of elegant outdoor furniture with rounded and organic shapes. The braided backrest creates small air gaps that let light through and give the construction an airy feeling. The backrest encloses a robust and almost stone-like seat, constructed of steel tubes and padded with the flexible cold foam Bayfit®. For extra protection, the seat has a polyester cover with a water-repellent treatment fitted with heat-sealed seams. The cover is available in a wide selection of fabrics suitable for outdoor environments in different colors and designs. The sofa is suggested to be combined with extra cushions for a piece of furniture with a soft embrace and high comfort. Available in two widths as well as a deeper model that is perfect for relaxation. If the products are placed outdoors and not used for a period of time, we suggest protecting them with their specially designed waterproof protective covers to prevent damage. The protective covers are sold separately.
