Organic Conference - Eames Special Collection was designed in 1940 by Charles Eames & Eero Saarinen for Vitra. The chair is part of the limited collection Eames Special Collection 2023. The armchair was originally designed as part of the designers' contribution to a competition entitled "Organic Design in Home Furnishings" organized by the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The chair's upholstery is made of polyurethane foam and has a fabric cover, the legs come in black ash and the seat shell is laminated. The armchair is also designed with glides equipped with plastic glides for carpets and felt glides suitable for hard floors.
