Verner Panton designed the Fun 1TM table lamp in 1964 as part of Verpan's Fun range. The table lamp consists of mother-of-pearl shell discs held together by stainless steel rings. When the lamp is switched on, the shimmering discs contribute to a very pleasant and diffuse light that is diffused through the discs, and when the lamp is in motion, it emits a melodic sound similar to a wind chime. Fun 1TM measures 65 cm in height and is ideal for standing on the floor.
