Flying Chair is a hanging lounge chair by the Danish company Verpan, designed by Verner Panton in 1969. This outlier from Verpan's collection hangs from the ceiling by four black nylon ropes and can be adjusted to different lengths for a relaxed sitting position. With its 151-cm-wide seat cushion upholstered in cold foam, the Flying Chair is a comfortable place to relax.The Flying Chair is available in a selection of Kvadrat fabrics. The seat is made of molded plywood with a supporting steel frame. The length of the nylon ropes can be varied to suit your needs and ceiling height. The Flying Chair is suitable for both public settings and the home, where it contributes a sense of floating. Use the Flying Chair to relax and unwind when reading a book or just taking a nap.
