The ceiling lamp Valigia Table Lamp was designed in 1977 by Ettore Sottsass for the Italian brand Stilnovo. The lamp consists of metal with a small handle and two support brackets in red paint, connected to the lampshade, which is lacquered matt black on the outside and white on the inside. The result is a playful and versatile lamp with a symbolic invitation to travel. Valigia is the Italian word for suitcase and just as the name suggests, the lamp is meant to be taken anywhere. The lamp can be described as a small architectural work without any precise limitations.
