The Italian designer Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba has designed an imaginative wall lamp in the shape of a hanging monkey for Italian Seletti. The bulb that the monkey is holding is adjustable and can either sit in the hand of the monkey or hang down. The lamp is made of painted resin that resembles porcelain in its structure. Monkey Lamp is available in two colors, white or black, and three different positions. The lamp is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Seletti's range of lighting and interior design is a mix of imaginative art and utility objects that give you the opportunity to create your own unique style.

In my opinion a super cool interior detail and I really like the monkey. It is massive in size and adorns its place nicely. What complicates things is the lighting. I bought the black monkey and keep it indoors. The original lighting is far too sharp and Seletti doesn't make alternative lamps - and neither does anyone else (36 Volt)... So I had to change to a conventional (fabric) cord and lamp holder, which turned out very well. Minus is of course the extra work and cost.
