Pind Chair is a chair designed by designer Simon Legald for the brand Normann Copenhagen. It got its name from the characteristic wooden sticks in its design. The chair captures the essence of the iconic Shaker chairs from 19th century America and conveys a timeless elegance. This style of furniture is known for its narrow, refined sticks that adorn the backrest. With a clean and modern expression, the chair pays tribute to traditional craftsmanship and brings the classic wooden chair into the present. The design consists of solid wooden pegs, except for the comfortable seat. The backrest has a carefully designed elliptical curve that provides both comfort and improved support for the back. The armrests, which are tastefully integrated and supported by three discreetly angled wooden pegs, harmonize with the backrest and further enhance the chair's elegant expression.
