In 2020, Nordiska Galleriet Rugs will launch a series of wool rugs, which include Solid Wool Mat Slate Gray. Our hand-tufted rugs have been developed in collaboration with a family-owned company in India that has extensive experience in producing quality rugs. Solid Wool Rug Slate Gray is made of 100% wool and the underside of the rug is backed with 100% cotton. Backing is a treatment that stabilizes the wool carpet's dimensions and extends its life. The treatment means that the carpet should not be used on floors with underfloor heating as the cotton edges underneath are attached with latex glue which can melt and discolour at high temperatures.

Solid Wool Rug Slate Gray comes in this version in a dark gray color. In the same series, there are six more stylish colors to choose from. The hand-tufted wool rugs come in standard sizes of 200 x 300 cm and 300 x 400 cm. In addition to a number of wool rugs in various sizes and colors, Nordiska Galleriet Rugs has also produced high-quality rya rugs. Each rug from Nordiska Galleriet Rugs has a handwritten label.
