The pendant lamp Under The Bell by Muuto was designed by Iskos-Berlin in 2011. When hung above a table, the pendant creates its own atmosphere and, thanks to its soft surface, it dampens the sound and improves the acoustics of the room in which it is placed. Under The Bell is made from recycled plastic felt that has been heated, molded and pressed into shape. We offer the lamp in two different sizes, Ø55 cm and Ø82 cm. You can also choose from white, green and black lampshades.
Iskos-Berlin, who designed the lamp, say that Under The Bell is more than just a pendant lamp, and explain that whether it is placed high or low, the lamp and its light will protect and embrace those sitting under it, physically and in the more abstract sense. Iskos-Berlin is a leading design duo based in Copenhagen. Boris Berlin and Aleksej Iskos founded the design studio in 2010. With their Scandinavian design style, they have taken the world by storm and their designs are now visible in places such as MoMA and the Danish Design Museum.
