Funiculi S Fabric - Table Lamp is a table lamp designed by Lluís Porqueras for Marset. The lamp is made of lacquered iron and has a textile shade. Funiculi S Fabric - Table Lamp has both a direct and indirect light. This version with a textile shade was an idea that Lluís Porqueras had already had in 1979, but it is only now that the idea is becoming a reality. The lamp has a design that makes it easy to adjust the height, hence the name Funiculi which comes from the word funicular, meaning something moving up and down.
Funiculi is one of the most famous lamps on Mars and its design is over 40 years old. Nevertheless, it is as modern and functional today as the day it was designed. In addition to Funiculi S Fabric - Table Lamp, there is also a version of the same table lamp in the same series, but with an aluminium shade.
