Bilame Chrome is a double-bladed corkscrew from the French brand L'Atelier du Vin. The corkscrew was patented back in 1949 and is an important part of the brand's range. Bilame Chrome can easily pull out even the oldest and most fragile wine corks without crumbling or even piercing them. The bottle opener has been a popular choice among waiters in French bistros since its origins. That's because, according to legend, it allowed them to take a sip of wine from the bottles and then put the cork back without anyone noticing.
