The daybed shares the same elegant and stylish design as the popular Barcelona Chair, both made through exceptional craftsmanship. The daybed features a soft foam padded cushion made up of 72 individual panels, cut and hand-treated from a single cowhide. A choice of different leathers is available.Relax is the version of the Barcelona Day Bed with a slightly softer filling.The cushion is fitted with leather straps on a frame of solid, clear lacquered wood. The legs are made of chrome-plated and polished rods.

Mies van der Rohe's less-is-more approach has inspired generations of modern architecture and design. His works have been acclaimed around the world and Barcelona won the Museum of Modern Art Award in 1977.
