Beetle Ottoman is an upholstered footstool from the Beetle collection by Gubi, designed by GamFratesi in 2013. The Beetle Ottoman can be combined with the Beetle Lounge Chair and Beetle Sofa from the same collection, as a footstool or an additional seat. The base is available in black, brass, or black chrome with slightly angled legs. The chair is available in a wide range of colors and fabrics. The seat is upholstered and has rounded edges and corners for maximum comfort.
The Beetle collection, as the name suggests, takes inspiration from the beetle. The design duo GamFratesi have studied the anatomy, esthetics, and movement of the beetle, interpreted the characteristic elements of the insect, and applied it to the shapes of the pieces in the series.
