In The Sun Table is a table lamp created by dominique Perrault and Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost for DCW éditions. Like the other lamps in the series, this table lamp is characterized by its frame made of steel and aluminum with a finish in either gold or silver. The unique lamp shade is also distinguished by its metal mesh which comes in either stainless steel or brass. The shade is threaded over a glass shade. The In The Sun Table is equipped with a battery, so it does not need to be plugged into an outlet. The lamp has a five-position switch for easy adjustment of brightness.

When the Pavillion Dufour at the world-famous Palace of Versailles was being renovated, designers Dominique Perrault and Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost wanted to create a series of lamps as a tribute to Louis XIV, also known as the Sun King. Like In The Sun Table, the other lamps in the series are characterized by festive shades of gold and silver, each contributing a special, almost magical, atmosphere to the home. In addition to this table lamp, the collection also includes ceiling lights and wall lamps in various sizes and finishes.
