LC1 Outdoor is specially designed for outdoor use. The frame is made of stainless steel and can be coated with a variety of color treatments. The seat, armrests and backrest are made of heavy-duty PVC-treated polyester fabric that keeps the chair intact even under severe weather conditions.

LC1 was designed in 1928 by the French design trio Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand. The design trio were all part of the L'Union des Artistes Modernes movement, which was run by French modernist architects and artists. Their driving force was to create simple and accessible design without excessive embellishment. The LC1 is a successful result of that philosophy and has been made in three different versions. They offer both style and great comfort. This version was shown for the first time at the Salon d'Automne in 1929 and was put into general production in 2011.
