16.25 Hawthorne is outdoor lighting from Bocci designed by Omer Arbel in 2015. The lamp is tree shaped with lightbulbs to represent its foliage. The structure consists of seven branches easily connected on a stainless steel trunk. The leaves measure approximately 20.3 x 21.6 cm and are made by hand, making each one is unique in proportion, size, and shape. Produced by pouring puddles of molten glass of varying opacity and color over a horizontal plane in three batches, they are then assembled two by two. 16.25 Hawthorne is often set up in larger configurations and with the other trees from the series to create the impression of a forest.
In front of the Fairmont Pacific Rimi in Vancouver stands the permanent installation 16.480, whose tallest tree is 6m high.
