Bertoia Slatted Wooden Bench was designed by Harry Bertoia in 1952 and was the first piece of furniture Bertoia designed for Knoll. The Bertoia Bench is a versatile piece of furniture that can be used as a bench or side table. The worktop is made of solid wood planks and is available in two colors, white and black. The base is made of stainless steel with a chrome-plated and polished finish. The cushion is optional and available in a choice of fabrics and leather types. The desk is also available for outdoor use.
Bertoia was mostly known as a sculptor and designed only one furniture collection. Although he did not work primarily as an interior designer, his paintings were highly appreciated and are still seen around the world today.
