The Cesca Chair from Knoll was designed in 1928 by Marcel Breuer and has become a design classic today. The chair has an elongated shape where its materials create flexibility and comfort, with its robust base in tubular steel and seat in rattan. The frame can be chosen in either light or black beech and the chair is also available in a version with armrests.
Marcel Breuer used traditional craft techniques combined with industrial methods and materials to make steel furniture an international sensation and a modern institution. As a testament to his innovation, the chair is now one of the most copied pieces of furniture of the 20th century.
