The iconic Barcelona Day Bed from Knoll was designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1930. The daybed shares the same elegant and stylish design as the popular Barcelona Chair, both made through exceptional craftsmanship. The daybed features a soft foam padded cushion made up of 72 individual panels, cut and hand-treated from a single cowhide. A choice of different leathers is available. The cushion is fitted with leather straps on a frame of solid, clear lacquered wood. The legs are made of chrome-plated and polished steel.

Mies van der Rohe's less-is-more approach has inspired generations of modern architecture and design. His works have been acclaimed around the world and Barcelona won the Museum of Modern Art Award in 1977.
