Platner Lounge Chair was designed by Warren Platner for Knoll in 1966. The chair is made of welded steel rods, which generate a moiré effect, unique to the Platner Chair. The lounge chair has a rounded shell made of molded fiberglass and foam. The upholstery is available in a variety of colors, in velvet or other. The metal base is available in two variants, painted in a matt metallic bronze color or plated with bright nickel. The base is also coated with a transparent protective lacquer. Platner Lounge Chair is Greenguard certified.
