Vega Chair, designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen in 1956, was created in connection with the modernist masterpiece Vega in Copenhagen. The stackable chair, previously only used in Vegas concert halls, is now available to a wider audience. Designed in the 1950s, this chair exemplifies Lauritzen's functionalist and characterful aesthetics. The backrest is well proportioned and curved to provide comfort and an embracing feeling. The chair is made of wood and steel, with the possibility of upholstery on the seat and back for improved comfort, while the elegant wooden feet give a sense of high-quality craftsmanship.
