Pendant lamp AMA500 is a lamp designed by Aino Aalto in 1941. Now it is relaunched by Artek and comes in two different colours; white and dark green. The ceiling lamp has a shade made of steel and details made of brass. The AMA500 pendant lamp is perfect for use above the dining table or desk. Its generous width provides plenty of downward light.
The dark green version of the AMA500 has an identical look to the lamp hanging in the library of Villa Mairea. Villa Mairea is a house designed by Aino Aalto together with her husband Alvar Aalto. The building is now considered by many to be an architectural masterpiece.
