The timeless JL341 ceiling pendant was created by Juha Leiviskä in 1969 for the Finnish furniture manufacturer Artek. Leiviskä was originally an architect, and a significant part of his work was church buildings. When designing the interiors, the architect paid great attention to lighting aspects, including artificial lighting, with self-designed fixtures. The JL341 is a ceiling pendant which, among many other fixtures, was part of this work.
The JL341 ceiling pendant is made of lightweight hand-turned aluminum and is designed with a thin disk unit that refracts the light and allows it to emit a warm and pleasant glow. The reflector is available in two designs, either tone on tone (white) or in brass.
