The stylish Golden Bell A330S ceiling pendant was created by Alvar Aalto in 1937 for the Finnish furniture manufacturer Artek. The lamp, also known as the "Golden Bell", is a beautiful fixture with soft and clean lines. It was originally designed as a special order for the famous Savoy restaurant in Helsinki. At the time it was only available in a brass version, which is why it was nicknamed the Golden Bell.
The original version came in polished brass, but now the stylish lamp is also available in chrome-plated steel version and in white or black lacquer. All edges are white lacquered on the inside, which gives the lamp a beautiful soft light distribution. The fixture is an simple lamp to have in the kitchen, in a hallway or in any other room of the home. Its small size means it doesn't take up much space, even though it attracts attention.
