Satake Ame – Petty is a small paring knife with a low profile and sharp tip, ideal for precision work in the kitchen. It is perfect for peeling vegetables, cutting fruit and working with small details. The knife has a beautiful handle of Vril from larch, peach tree, camphor and maple. The blade is hand-hammered from 5 layers of AUS10 steel with a hardness of 60-61 HRC. Bolster and end piece are in stainless steel. Each handle is unique, see pictures for examples.
