Working with Petite Friture, Pierre Favresse developed the Tidelight lamp in 2012. Tidelight is a functional lamp that can be used both as a floor and table lamp thanks to its thick glass and sturdy cork base. Tidelight is made of mouth-blown glass which makes each lamp unique. The structure of the glass and the shape of the lamp give Tidelight a warm light. Tidelight is available in two finishes, where the color of the glass differs.The inspiration for Tidelight comes from the spotlights used in the automotive industry. The light is diffused through the structure and shape of the glass. Tidelight is the result of traditional craftsmanship combined with pioneering design for automotive lighting. In 2010, Tidelight was awarded the VIA Label prize for its innovative design.
