The Shogun table lamp was designed by Mario Botta for Artemide in 1986 and has become a modern design classic. The design language revolves around contrasts in colour, shape and light. Shogun has a cylindrical metal lamp base, painted with black and white stripes. On top are white-painted convex shades made of perforated steel sheet, which can be easily adjusted and thus change the expression of the lamp. The perforation of the screens means that Shogun spreads an atmospheric play of light and shadow. The table lamp becomes an eye-catching detail to the interior and is suitable as spot lighting in, for example, a hall or living room. Light source not included.
