The 70/70 table from Muuto is a study in the optimal use of geometric shapes to create a balanced table. Despite its seemingly unobtrusive appearance, care and attention to detail is throughout. The table stands on two cast aluminum squares that measure exactly 70x70 cm each. The simplicity of the Scandinavian aesthetic is harmonious in its combination with the natural warmth of the wood and adds a personal touch that fits just as well in the kitchen as in the home office. Their goal with the work is to change the everyday by exploring subtle changes that can make a big difference in the experience and function of architecture.
