Pipistrello Table Lamp is designed by Gae Aulenti year 1965 for Martinelli Luce and has become an iconic lamp in modern lighting design. The lamp has great character and Pipistrello becomes such a stunning light source as a beautiful interior detail. Comes in this version with a dimmer.

Pipistrello has a shade made of four moulded leaves in opal white methacrylate that are joined in the middle with a knob. This unique shape was created with inspiration from the wings of a bat and the name Pipistrello means bat in Italian.

The tapered lamp base has a telescopic stainless steel section that allows this model to have an adjustable height between 66 - 86 cm. Pipistrello can thus be adapted to suit both table and floor lamps. The lamp base is available in several lacquered colors and the knob in the middle of the shade comes in the same color as the base.

Pipistrello is also available in two smaller sizes and in a completely wooden option that charges with a USB cable. In 2015, a gold-plated anniversary edition was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Pipistrello.
