Ashanghai was designed by French designer Max Ingrand in 1999, who was previously artistic director of FontanaArte. The unique lamp base is made of borosilicate glass and is shaped into tubes that are joined by curved joints. The stylish bowl is made of acid-etched and mouth-blown white glass. The choice of colors and materials makes Ashanghai a discreet table lamp, but thanks to its unique design it is also a work of art in itself.
