The stylish Turnip A333 ceiling pendant was created by Alvar Aalto in the 1950s for the Finnish furniture manufacturer Artek. The lamp, which also goes by the name Turnip, got its Nordic name because of its unique and incredibly beautiful shape. The A333 is an attractive and timeless classic in the world of lighting and its design fits perfectly into different environments.
The Turnip A333 comes with a lacquered steel shade and is available in two finishes: a white ring around the diffuser or a brass ring. Thanks to this ring, a warm and pleasant light is emitted, something typical of Alvar Aalto's lighting design.
