The Agnoli floor lamp was designed by Tito Agnoli in 1954 for the Italian company Oluce. Agnoli is the oldest lamp in the catalogue but despite its age it still feels modern today. The lamp consists of a nickel-plated rod with a tilting light bulb that can be directed in any direction. An uncluttered luminaire with an industrial design that fits into many homes and settings. The lamp comes with an included light source but is also compatible with LED light sources if you wish to switch to them. The Agnoli is turned on and off by means of a switch that matches the cable of the lamp that comes with the pole.Designer Tito Agnoli was born in 1931. Trained as a teacher, he began studying architecture in 1949 and was an assistant to Gip Ponti and Carlo de Darli. During his career, Toto Agnoli has designed projects for Montina, Lema and Metteo Grassi, among others. In 1986 he was awarded the Neocon gold medal in Chicago. Several of Agnoli's works are now on display in MoMa's permanent exhibition.
