YETI Coolers was founded in 2006 by two brothers who shared a great passion for the outdoors. After a lot of frustration and a lot of experience with coolers that didn’t hold up well during their outings, they come up with the solution - to build a cooler for everyday use suitable for serious outdoors enthusiasts that can be used both in the field and on the water without getting broken.
