The Fan Chair was designed in 2010 by Tom Dixon for the brand of the same name. The Fan Chair is made from natural materials, solid wood and black leather, and is available in two finishes, black beech and natural oak. The chair is similar to the classic Windsor chair, but in a new, more modern design. The method of production is meticulous as the wooden pegs are carefully twisted, thinned and bent to create a silhouette reminiscent of a fantail, sea anemones and antique corsets. To create a natural finish, the wood is then treated. The sloping lounge chair has a curved back that offers support and comfort and has a black leather seat cushion.
