The Fan Stool was designed in 2012 by Tom Dixon for the brand of the same name. The Fan Stool is made from natural materials, solid wood and black leather, and is available in two finishes, black beech and natural oak. The manufacturing process is meticulous as the wooden pegs are carefully twisted, thinned and finely sanded to create a silhouette reminiscent of a fantail, sea anemones and antique corsets. To create a natural finish, the wood is then treated. The sculptural stool has a black leather seat cushion and the height of the stool is 45 cm.
