The Cut shelves were designed by Studio Tashide for the German brand Schönbuch. These free-floating, console shelves are made of solid wood and come in a variety of lengths. Schönbuch offers Cut shelves in elm, oak or walnut as well as in several different lacquered colors. The design of the shelves is reminiscent of a barrel, with a recessed underside that gives the shelf a beautiful depth and a unique shape. Mixing the woods and the different lengths is an easy way to create a beautiful shelf with room for your favourite items. Cut can weigh from six to eight kilograms, depending on the type of wall you install the shelves in.

Studio Tashide is made up of founders Sandra Tan-Schiebe and Johannes Schiebe. Together they founded the studio in 2004 in Offenbach with the aim of creating harmony and well-being with their products. The imaginative design and environment of the home is the core of their work.
