PK58 is a minimalist dining table from Fritz Hansen, designed by Poul Kjærholm with inspiration from the PK54 table from 1963. PK58 follows the same design language as the original, but with different material choices and was launched together with the PK8 chair in collaboration with Hanne Kjærholm. The table has a round table top made of molded polyester composite that rests on a cubic-shaped base in anodized, satin-brushed aluminum. Poul Kjærholm has a great talent for combining different types of materials and contrasting shapes. In the design language of PK58, round and square meet with hard and soft materials, thus creating a harmonious design.
