Uomo della Luce is the table lamp from the Fil de Fer lamp collection by Catellani Smith, created by Enzo Catellani himself over 20 years ago. Fil de Fer is the most iconic Catellani Smith lighting. The lamp is made through a solid craftsmanship, where lots of aluminum wires are woven together by hand to form a sphere. Small lightbulbs embedded in the sphere provide an atmospheric twinkling glow. The brightness can also be dimmed. Uomo della Luce stands out from the other lamps in the collection, the sphere of the table lamp held up by a carved human figure in black wrought iron. Fil de Fer becomes as much a piece of art as a lamp and is suitable for both classic and modern settings. Also available as a pendant, wall, and floor lamp. Exclusively handmade in Italy, right on the banks of the Serio River in the Bergamo area.
