PostKrisi 0049 is a pendant lamp by Catellani Smith, designed by Enzo Catellani in 2004. He designed the lamp in molded fiberglass because he was fascinated by the versatility and strength of the material. It is also thanks to the fiberglass that PostKrisi 0049 creates an incomparable shadow around itself when light falls on it. The ceiling lamp consists of two overlapping domes, which also give PostKrisi 0049 its irregular and rough edges that give it a unique character. PostKrisi 0049 is available in four different sizes in white fiberglass with silver or gold leaves.PostKrisi is a collection of lamps that opens a new chapter in the production of Catellani. For the first time he introduced color in his range, hand-painted with pure primary colors they give a different side to the lamps. The shape, which has always been an important element of Catellani's design to capture the light and create shadows, is here enhanced by shades made of fiberglass with rough, frayed edges that make even more vivid the play of shadows that turn into light drawings. The range also includes floor, ceiling and table lamps.
