The 833 Cavalletto coffee table by Cassina was designed in 1950 by Italian designer and architect Franco Albini and put into production in 2008. As one of the main representatives of Italian functionalism, Albini's design is characterized by clean, straight lines without any elaborate flourishes. The straight design of the table has a smooth finish. The crossed legs and the solid steel slats provide the stability of a classic trestle table.
The 833 Cavalletto is ideal as a writing and dining table. The table is available in American walnut and in natural or black stained ash.
