The OW449 Colonial Table is a simple and beautiful coffee table designed by Ole Wanscher for the Colonial collection from the Danish brand Carl Hansen & Søn. At first glance, the coffee table feels very humble in its expression, but upon closer inspection, you quickly see that it has received exactly the great care that usually characterizes Ole Wanscher's furniture. The frame around the tabletop is equipped with slightly rounded edges, and the top of each leg is adorned with decorative details.
Carl Hansen & Søn's OW449 Colonial Table is available in either oak or walnut. Depending on the wood you choose, you can then choose between an oiled, clear lacquered, white-oiled, or black-lacquered finish. Note that black-lacquered oak always comes with a clearly visible wood structure. The base itself is made entirely of solid wood, while the tabletop is made of laminated wood.
