The stylish and eye-catching 41 armchair was created by Alvar Aalto in 1932 for the Finnish furniture manufacturer Artek. The 41 armchair is a true original and the furniture designer created it when he began experimenting with bending wood. At that stage, he sketched out and made the armchair 41, which is a supple console chair with soft shapes that is not only beautiful to look at - it also provides a soft recline for a seat with greater comfort.
This beautiful and very whimsical chair attracts attention wherever you place it. It looks equally beautiful on its own or in a group of several. The 41 chair is made of molded and shaped birch, lacquered on the seat and back. The chair is available in black or white.
