Mademoiselle rocking chair is a rocking chair designed in 1956 by Ilmari Tapiovaara for Artek. The series also includes the Mademoiselle Lounge Chair. The structure of the rocking chair consists of stained or mixed wood. The product can be ordered in black, white, or sage green. Mademoiselle Rocking Chair is suitable for any home or living room.
Ilmari Tapiovaara was inspired to create the iconic rocking chair by traditional cane chairs, which is clear in the design of the high backrest. Since then, the designer has added legs with rockers, updating the character of the traditional rocking chair.

My parents truly love this rocking chair ... 🤔 fear having caused them reasons to argue more as they both want to enjoy it. Might have to get another one 😉 We were happily surprised by Nordic gallery delivery ... as the chair arrived 1½ weeks prior to initial ETA ... allowing us more time to enjoy it ... Rock on 🤘🏽
