Designed by Sebastian Herkner for Zanat, the Sinya coffee table is characterized by its sculptural and dynamic design. The table consists of interlinked table tops, where the contrast between smooth surfaces and hand-carved patterns creates a visual rhythm. The different tops meet in an asymmetrical but balanced composition that gives the table a distinctive character.
The name Sinya is inspired by the Bosnian word sinija, which refers to the traditionally low, round dining tables around which families gathered to eat and socialize. The Sinya coffee table is created with the same idea in mind - a natural gathering point for conversation, drink and small details that give everyday life a harmonious structure.
