Alanda is an iconic coffee table from the B&B Italia brand designed by Paolo Piva in the early 1980s. The coffee table has now been recreated as a tribute to the designer who passed away in 2017. It is a design classic with a design language that mimics a group of upside down pyramids supporting the glass top. The coffee table is made of steel and glass. Paolo Piva was mainly interested in industrial design and was one of the most prominent Italian architectural designers of the late 20th century. Piva studied architecture and art at the international university IUAV in Venice. During his career, the designer collaborated with several major brands and this coffee table is one of his most famous works.

Timeless design. Quality through and through! A really heavy table with a strong glass top that won't break. Note very heavy (3 people are needed for assembly and carrying in)
