Chair 66 Walnut Exclusive Edition has been developed exclusively for Nordiska Galleriet and is part of a series of five pieces specially designed in walnut-stained birch.

The Chair 66 was designed by Alvar Aalto in 1935 and has been in production in the original birch version ever since. Aalto was a pioneer when it comes to lamination and bentwood technology, which was groundbreaking at the time. Among other things, it laid the foundation for the well-known L-shaped legs that support the stool and have become perhaps Aalto's most well-known signature. Chair 66 is manufactured with a minimum of components, which makes transportation economical from a sustainability perspective. Artek Walnut Exclusive Edition is only available for sale at Nordiska Galleriet and is part of a larger initiative on exclusive editions to offer customers a unique range.
