The Mikado Side Chair, designed by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby for Vitra, is a dining chair with a classic and minimalist design. It offers exceptional comfort and is ideal for use around dining tables, in restaurants or meeting rooms. The chair has an upholstery that covers all sides and a dynamic backrest that follows the user's movements thanks to a hidden mechanism under the seat. The back shell is made from recycled polypropylene, while the seat and back upholstery consists of polyurethane foam and the inner seat panel from recycled aluminium. The cover is not glued and can be easily removed for maintenance.
