The design couple Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have created the Copenhague furniture series for the Danish brand HAY, specifically for the recently rebuilt University of Copenhagen. The inspiration for the series comes from the classic chair in the collection, which itself is a modern interpretation of a traditional university chair, influenced by Bernt Pedersen's iconic cantilever chair. This chair stands out through its clean and aesthetically pleasing design.
